The Global Green Energy Industry Council (GGEIC), New Energy Industry Association Asia Pacific (NEIAAP) and the Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA) jointly launches the SNEC Training Program in Renewable Energy. The goal is to help Solar PV and renewable energy professionals getting the latest development knowledge on solar PV, energy storage, hydrogen and fuel cell technologies as well as global market updates. The first PV training course will be launched during the SNEC event in June 2019. We have invited the following distinguished scholars and industry experts to the SNEC Training Program as trainers:

Ø Course Introduction 

The courses are for solar sales professionals who are interested to learn PV technical knowledge as well as USA market updates. The objective is to help sales professionals for international market to gain better understanding solar PV terminologies and installation basics in English, stay current with solar PV and storage development projects, policy updates in California market, as well as technical and certification requirements from USA, etc. The instructors will mainly teach in English and supported by optional Mandarin translation.

Ø Course Introduction 

This course is for technical and engineering persons who are interested to learn specific design and sizing method that has been tested over many year and used for many installations in the South-East-Asia (SEA) region. The objective is to show clear and precise steps in doing sizing, vis-à-vis the matching of photovoltaic (PV) modules with grid-interactive inverters and selected balance-of-system (BOS) components, typically used in the SEA region. The end-game is to enrich the existing pool of knowledge in design and sizing methods, with the long-term vision of harmonising the various approaches so there is congruence. The instruction will be done in English.
